PVC Paste Resin: Uses in Artificial Leather, Toys & Industrial
PVC paste resin, often referred to in the industry as "paste PVC," is a highly dispersible powder material produced through emulsion polymerization or micro-suspension polymerization processes. Its particles are extremely fine, typically between 0.1 and 2.0 micrometers in diameter, a difference in fineness comparable to that of flour and sand compared to traditional suspension PVC resin. It is this ultrafine particle size that gives it unique "pseudoplasticity"—good flowability during processing, yet stable shape when stopped.
When mixed with plasticizers, it forms a toothpaste-like "plastic paste," which is easy to apply and mold, and can be cured into a soft and elastic product upon heating. This characteristic makes it a core raw material for the production of flexible PVC products, widely used in artificial leather, toys, industrial conveyor belts, and many other fields.
