Methanol (dried, CH3OH) is the simplest saturated monol, with CAS number 67-56-1,170082-17-4, molecular weight of 32.04 and boiling point of 64.7℃.Also known as "xylitol" or "wood essence".It is a volatile liquid with a colorless alcohol odor.Methanol can be easily obtained from inferior coal, a very general coal, 1.35 tons of coal can make 1 ton of methanol.China has more coal, and at the same time, methanol can be recycled from carbon dioxide manufacturing value, carbon dioxide hydrogenation manufacturing value. There are many steel mills, thermal power plants that have plenty of carbon dioxide With hydrogen emissions, this recycling is renewable in energy sources.

At present, methanol is second important basic organic raw material to olefin and aromatics in the organic synthesis industry. With the development of technology and the change of energy structure, methanol has opened up many new uses.Methanol is a good raw material for synthetic protein, with high protein conversion rate, fast fermentation speed, non-toxic, and cheap price.Methanol is widely used and is the basic organic chemical raw material and high-quality fuel.Mainly used in fine chemical industry, plastic and other fields, used to manufacture lialdehyde, acetic acid, chloromethane, methanine, dimethyl sulfuric acid and other organic products, is also one of the important raw materials of pesticides, medicine.Methanol can be used as a new type after deep processing Clean fuel, also add gasoline di mixed with burning.Methanol is easy to transport clean fuel, can be alone or mixed with gasoline as automotive fuel, use it as a gasoline additive can save aromatic hydrocarbons, improve the role of octane value, automobile manufacturing will also become a huge consumption of methanol, methanol consumption has exceeded its traditional use, potential consumption far more than its chemical use, penetration into the departments of the national economy.Especially with the change of energy structure, methanol is known as the alternate fuel for major fuels in the future, and the demand is very huge.

Although methanol fuel has the characteristics of low price, simple processing and very environmental protection after combustion, its disadvantages are also very obvious: 1. In the incineration process, when the temperature reaches about 250 degrees, so that it is deformed for a long-term time in the gasification condition.2. Low calorific value and high energy consumption of incineration, only changing the ratio can have the value for implementation.3. Low flame temperature, small fire, and slow heating speed.4. Liquid shape, thorough gasification and incineration mode is arduous.5. When the incineration is insufficient, the waste gas discharged after incineration is strictly overspent.
