In the unprecedented teleconference of "over 100,000 people" held recently to stabilize the economy, the relevant person in charge said that in April 2022, the liquidation of enterprises across the country will soar by more than 23% year-on-year. Behind this data is the helplessness of many business leaders. If there is a glimmer of hope, they will not go the road of bankruptcy and liquidation, not to mention the number of companies that have closed down in recent years.

According to the data of the Qichacha platform, since 2022, a total of 5,984 plastics companies have closed down, cancelled, bankrupt and reorganized, of which 4,425 have been established and cancelled this year, and the remaining 1,559 have been established for various lengths of time and are currently being cancelled. or has closed down.

These enterprises cover many plastic provinces such as Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, Anhui, etc. The business scope ranges from the processing of recycled pellets to the manufacture and sales of plastic products. The registered capital is as small as 20,000 and as large as 50 million. It can be seen that when it was established, it has already made predictions about the future based on its own situation, and hoped to have a good future prospect.

According to relevant data, about 73.8% of the small and micro enterprises' order volume has declined and has not recovered to the level before the epidemic; the registration and cancellation ratio of small and micro enterprises continued to decline, the number of registrations fell sharply, the number of cancellations surged, and more than 10% of small and micro enterprises disappeared. , only 35% of small and micro enterprises can be confirmed as normal operation.

In other words, the current economic situation is a crisis for all walks of life, not to mention the plastic industry, which has a low degree of concentration and many small and medium-sized enterprises in the industry. Combined with the combined factors such as the frequent start-up and shutdown of the current epidemic and the decline in consumer purchasing power, the crisis in the plastic industry chain will continue to ferment, and a large number of enterprises will enter the "cold winter", and more enterprises may face the crisis of bankruptcy in the future.
