Airbus now has about 50% of its titanium and comes from the Russian market. But as the market turmoil is unpredictable, it are helpless to avoid affecting the company's capacity this year and avoid supply chain disruptions in the future. So the European aviation giant Airbus (Airbus) is currently looking for an alternative source of titanium besides Russia.

Russia's titanium reserves are 13.5 percent, after China and Japan. The Russian product-grade titanium sponge production accounts for 22% of the world.Russian Avis code is the world's largest manufacturer of titanium sponge, with the United States Boeing, European Airbus, European Peak, British Rolls-Royce and other airlines have titanium metal trade. We can see the important position of Russian titanium in the world.

While there are no restrictions on Russian metals in the US and Europe, some buyers have begun to avoid them.

Boeing, a rival to Airbus, has said it would stop buying Russian titanium, which accounts for a third of its total. But Airbus, which suspimports from Russia, will be 50% less in the supply chain, with a huge impact on the aircraft made. And the European Union still allows Airbus to continue to buy Russian titanium.Wersch said: 'We are closely monitoring the situation in Russia and Ukraine and the situation in Russia to avoid affecting our supply chain and business,' there is no problem.'

Titanium is a light, strong and durable metal, and is an important raw material for making aircraft. However, titanium processing is difficult. At present, only the United States, Russia, Japan and China have advanced titanium production technology.
